About us

Strategy that gets built, not just recommended.

Helix is a strategy and systems implementation consultancy for businesses that have outgrown the way they operate. We work from the commercial problem through to the working solution, with one team accountable for both.

Why we exist

We close the gap between the boardroom and the build.

A sound strategy can still fail inside a business that cannot execute it.

The failure is rarely dramatic. A spreadsheet becomes business critical. Reporting becomes steadily more manual. New platforms arrive without being properly connected. Leaders ask simple questions and wait days for an answer nobody fully trusts.

Helix was founded to close that gap. We diagnose the commercial problem, redesign the way the work should happen and stay accountable while the solution is implemented. The people shaping the strategy remain involved in the build.

That may mean repairing measurement, connecting systems, automating a finance process or building a custom application. The technology changes. The purpose does not: make the business easier to run and more capable of carrying growth.

Why growth

Growth is the stress test for how a business operates.

The name is deliberate. Growth is the ability to take on more customers, more work and more complexity without equal growth in cost, coordination and confusion.

More volume exposes whatever the operating model has been hiding: unclear ownership, manual handoffs, fragmented data and systems that only work because experienced people know the workaround.

Our work increases the business's capacity to execute. Sometimes that starts in marketing, sometimes in operations, and usually crosses both because the underlying constraints do not respect the org chart.

How we work

The principles that hold on every engagement.

Start with the real work

We spend time with the people doing the job before recommending anything. What is written down and what actually happens are rarely the same thing.

Use what you already own

Most businesses are getting less from their existing stack than it can provide. Replacement is a last resort, not an opening move.

Keep strategy and delivery together

The people who agree the plan stay involved while it is built, so commercial intent and technical decisions remain joined.

Work to a measurable outcome

Every engagement should improve performance, reduce effort, increase visibility or create a capability the business did not have before.

Put senior people on the work

You work directly with experienced strategists and technical leads throughout the engagement, not only during the pitch.

Leave the capability with you

We work alongside your team, document what we build and transfer ownership. The business should become more capable, not more dependent.

Who we work with

The problems where we add the most value.

We add the most value where the problem crosses teams, platforms and decisions, and where a recommendation without implementation will not change the result.

The business

An enterprise or scaling mid-market business with several teams, several platforms and years of decisions layered on top of each other.

The situation

Meaningful investment without a clear return, manual work consuming capacity, conflicting numbers, or systems that worked at one size and are failing at the next.

The leader

A senior marketing, operations, finance or data leader who owns the problem and wants a team that will build the answer, not only describe it.

We are less useful when the need is simply extra hands on an existing plan, a single campaign in isolation or a recommendation nobody intends to implement. Our value sits in the system underneath, and in staying to make it work.

The team

Commercial thinking and engineering, held in the same team.

Helix began with two disciplines that are too often separated: understanding the commercial problem and engineering the system that solves it. The delivery team is built around that combination.

Jade Arenstein

Jade Arenstein

CEO

Jade leads Helix: the direction of the firm, the standard the work is held to and the commercial relationships behind it. She is also the senior consultant on engagements, working directly with leadership teams to turn ambiguous growth and performance problems into a plan the business can execute. Her consulting work spans measurement, marketing operations, data strategy and operating model design, with programmes across hospitality, iGaming, retail, automotive and financial services. She stays on the engagement through delivery, keeping the system tied to the result it is meant to produce.

Jordan Arenstein

Jordan Arenstein

Engineering Lead

Jordan designs and builds the technical foundations behind the work. His focus spans cloud architecture, data engineering, tracking, APIs, automation and custom applications. He also leads product development, applying the same engineering standards to the software Helix builds and takes to market. He translates business requirements into systems that operate reliably at scale, and owns technical quality from architecture through handover.

Fred Gatari

Fred Gatari

Growth and Innovation Lead

Fred leads growth and innovation: new propositions, partnerships and the commercial models behind them. He also owns brand strategy, for Helix and for clients whose positioning has not kept up with the business they have become. On engagements he drives the innovation work, identifying where a different commercial or operational model changes the result rather than optimising the one already in place. He works closest to clients in early scoping, while the commercial problem is still being defined.

Delivery runs through a core senior team, with specialists brought in across analytics engineering, cloud, data, application development and marketing technology as the problem requires. Engagements are staffed to the work, and the people who scope it remain involved.

Engagement model

Start where the problem requires.

01

Diagnostic

A fixed-scope assessment of where the friction sits, what it is costing and what should change first. You receive a prioritised plan and implementation estimate, with no obligation to build with us.

02

Implementation

A defined programme against an agreed commercial outcome. We design, integrate, automate, test and hand over the system required to produce it.

03

Embedded support

Ongoing senior and technical capacity once the system is live, covering maintenance, iteration, new requirements and the analysis that keeps it useful.

04

Strategic partnership

A longer arrangement for businesses running a multi-phase change agenda, where we hold the roadmap with leadership and deliver against it over time.

Technology

Technology is part of the answer, not the starting point.

We do not resell platforms or force a preferred stack. The right architecture depends on what the business already owns, what the team can maintain and what the commercial case supports.

Analytics and measurement

Web and app analytics, tag management, server side tracking, consent and identity.

Advertising and campaign platforms

Search, social, programmatic and feed based activation, including the APIs behind them.

Data and cloud

Warehouses, pipelines, transformation and scheduling in the major cloud environments.

CRM and marketing automation

Customer records, lifecycle messaging and the integrations between sales, service and marketing.

Business and finance systems

Project, time, billing and finance tools, joined to each other rather than replaced.

Custom development

Web and application development, APIs, automation services and internal tooling where nothing off the shelf fits.

Enterprise assurance

How we work inside a large organisation.

Enterprise delivery is not only a technical question. It is access, governance, change control and knowing who owns what when we are finished.

Security and access

We work within your access model and request the minimum permissions the work requires. Credentials are held only as long as the engagement needs them and handed back at close.

Delivery governance

An agreed scope, a named owner on both sides, a delivery plan with checkpoints, and status your stakeholders can read without translation.

Working with internal teams

Alongside your people and your existing suppliers, in your tools and your ceremonies. We are additive to a team, not a replacement for one.

Architecture standards

Solutions designed to your standards and constraints, reviewed with your technology function before they are built rather than after.

Change management

Releases planned with the people affected, tested against real cases, and rolled out at a pace the business can absorb.

Documentation

Written documentation for what was built and why, kept with the system rather than in an inbox.

Training and knowledge transfer

Working sessions with the people who will run it, so capability stays in the business when we step back.

Ownership and ongoing support

What we build is yours: your accounts, your code, your data. Support continues for as long as it is useful, and never as a condition of keeping it running.

Testimonials

What our clients say.

"I've worked with Helix Growth on several projects and currently on a retainer. What sets them apart is their ability to bridge business objectives with technical execution, something that is often missing once a project moves beyond the sales phase. They bring strong commercial understanding, deep expertise in the Google marketing platform, and a clear view of how marketing technology integrates with broader systems such as CRM."
Matt Lovett, Account Executive, Cloudsmiths
"Helix Growth has reworked our digital marketing platform from the ground up. Before this, our digital marketing setup was volatile, fragmented, and operating without a clear strategy. Four months into this engagement, we have seen consistent month-on-month growth in user acquisition, revenue, and engagement. We now have full visibility into the true performance of marketing campaigns, and a clear understanding of ROI, LTV, and performance by source."
Steve Kihiu, Head of Data and Analytics, Techplain.io

Our own software

Lumen: confidence before optimisation.

Most organisations optimise marketing using data they have never properly validated. Lumen automatically audits GA4 and GTM, surfaces the evidence behind every finding and gives teams the steps required to fix what is broken. A measurement problem you cannot see is a measurement problem you cannot manage.

Use Lumen as self-service software, engage Helix for a wider Marketing Data Audit, or bring us in to implement the fix. Each stands on its own. Together they provide a path from technical validation to a measurement system the business can trust.

See how Lumen works

What it does

Over 100 automated checks across GA4 and GTM
A full audit in minutes rather than days
Every finding backed by data, not opinion
Built because we were running the same audit by hand too often

Where to start

Tell us where execution is breaking down.

A strategy is only as strong as the ability to execute it. Thirty minutes is usually enough to locate the friction and say what it is costing.

No polished brief needed. Describe the problem as you see it, and we will come back with where we think it actually sits and what it would take to fix.
