Designing an Enterprise-Grade Marketing Automation Engine
In partnership with Cloudsmiths, Helix Growth led the solution design and product ownership for a rules-based marketing automation engine built to support enterprise-scale campaign activation and optimisation across Google Ads and DV360 for a large and global UK-based agency. The engine was designed to automate campaign creation directly from product feeds, align media activity in real time with stock availability, and enable always-on optimisation using product and platform performance signals, while maintaining strong governance and transparency for media teams.
By translating complex operational requirements into a scalable, rules-driven product, we helped reduce campaign build times from hours to under a minute, cut launch lead times to near-instant, and unlock meaningful operational capacity for strategic work, creating a robust foundation for future enhancements such as deeper data integration and more advanced decisioning.
